As you know #omelette s are my favourite #breakfast   #meal  especially if you have some leftover fillings which int his case was #lamb ,  #Mushroom , #onion  and #cheddar   #cheese  . Ingredients 3 eggs ( beaten ) 1 red onion ( diced ) Handful of White cheddar ( or any cheese ) 2 cloves of garlic Meat ( for this one i used some leftover roast lamb , about a cup full ) Rosemary( pinch ) 2 x tablespoon butter / margarine 1 cup of mushrooms Method Filling Fry your red onion and garlic in some butter in Apotorpan until the smell of the garlic and onion fill the air Now add the chopped up Lamb and a pinch of rosemary and fry for about 3minutes Add some butter tsp to #apotorpan  and add mushrooms to it, fry for 2 minutes then remove Remove this and set aside for the filling later Omellete In a pan, add a teaspoon of butter Add your beaten eggs to the pan and leave to fry for about 5minutes before attempting to l...

Chicken Schnitzel and Chips

Today i made a simple dish that took about 1 hour to make Ingredients 3 Chicken breast, (sliced in half and pounded flat with a meat tenderiser) 3 cups of baked McCain oven fries Leafy salad cup of flour 3 tablespoons of Paprika 1 tablespoon of Robertsons Olive and Rosemary spice 2 egg ( Beaten) Method Take a Fillet of chicken and tenderise it but a bottle or any kitchen mallet to flatten the breast. Mix the flour and Paprika. Once this is done, dip the chicken into flour, then into the beaten egg and back into the flour again before frying it in apotorpan. Fry on bothe sides until golden brown. Bs Chicken sausage casserole

Today i made a simple dish that took about 30 minutes to make provided that the pasta is cooked already.. #supper  is served with chicken sausage, jelapeano, green pepper, garlic and cocktail tomatoes served on a bed of Fettucini Ingredients #chicken   #sausage Green #pepper   1 #jalapeno   1 #garlic   2 cloves #Rosemary   and #Olive   spice #sugar   1 tsp black pepper olive oil 30 ml #cocktail   #tomato   1 cup Method Fry 1 onion, greenpepper, jalapeno and garlic for 5 minutes in 30ml olive oil. Add cut up chicken sausage and brown it for 10min stirring occasionally Once this is done add a twig of Rosemary and Olive spice , tsp of sugar and fry with the lid off pan halfway over Apotorpan until it starts to stick to the bottom (you want this to happen ) Add a cup of cocktail tomatoes and stir into the sausage mixture with the lid closed for another 10minutes Now remove the lid and cook for another ...

Lamb Shank and Mash

Tried my hand at a Sunday #Roast , took me the better part of 2 hours but it sure tasted like a #restuarant  bought #meal .  #lamb    #shank  served with #redonion ,  #carrots  and  #peppers  laid on a #bed  of   #garlic   #mash   #potatoes Ingredients 2 x lamb shank 6 carrots 2 peppers 1 red onion  1 white onion 1 tin of peeled tomatoes 3 cloves garlic Rosemary Thyme 12 baby  potatoes Vegetable Stock Method In#apotorpan, brown the outside of the meat on all sides in a little oil Once this is done, remove #meat then add the Carrots, onions, peppers, garlic and tomato to the dish, #spice  it with #thyme  and #Rosemary Place the Shank ontop of the veg and wrap in #foil Place in the oven for 1 hour at a time at 190 #degrees  turning after the first hour then coating it with the juices and  back in again for another hour Mash potato In #apotorpan  place the potat...

Omelettes are my favourite breakfast meal especially if you have some leftover fillings which in this case was #lamb , to this i added some #Mushroom , #onion  and #cheddar   #cheese  . Bs Lamb Curry

Why not give this a try.. A lovely Lamb chop curry and all served with Basmati rice. Its really easy if you stick to my guidelines. Who knew that cooking could be so easy right....Try it, you WILL like it.. Ingredients 500g Lamb Chops ( or any thin meat, about 5cm thick ) 30ml Sunflower Oil 2 Onions 4 Tamatoes 2 tsp Garlic 2 tsp crushed ginger tsp Chilli power tsp cumin tsp garlic and ginger spice tsp coriander powder tsp roasted masala tsp salt Method Heat your Oil in #apotorpan  for about 3minutes Add your chopped onions and brown it off for about 5 minutes ( it needs to be brown but not burnt Mix all your spices together and add to the onion mixture then fry until the aromatic fumes fill the air Add 3 chopped tomatoes and a little water and cook for about 10minutes until the sauce thickens Add your meat and garlic to the pan Add some water, about half a cup and then close the lid and cook for 15 minutes, then stirring and cooking again for another 15min.
