South African Vienna smoor and Sunnyside up egg served on a slice of honey and oats bread
Breakfast is served and this one is sure to fill the biggest of gaps. It took me around 15 minutes to prepare, how long it took for me to eat it, well lets say it takes longer to make something than it does to eat it... So here goes
Ingredients:
3 x Viennas
2 x Eggs
Half an Onion
1 x Tomato
1 x tsp of garlic
Half a tsp of Paprika / Chilli and garlic spice (Robertsons, so verastile)
Half a tsp of Mixed Herbs (Robertsons , so versatile)
2 x slices of Bread (Any kind will do)
Method
Cut up Viennas and Onions. Now fry the Viennas in some butter or olive oil, just a drizzle. The Viennas need to be brown
One this is done add in your onions and cook until soft, normally around 5 minutes should do the trick and once that is done, add your cut up tomato, herbs and tomato with about 3 Tbs of water to get the cooking process started.
Once this is cooked off, taste it, if it starts sticking to the potorpan then add a touch of water to thin it out. Now grab another potorpan and add a bit of butter or oil (Your preferance) and wait for about a minute while your butter starts to sizzle or the oil is hot then crack open your eggs. I normally leave it for around 3-5 minutes until the egg is white, then i flip it over leave it for 30seconds then flip it back..
Now serve on 2 slices of bread, Voila
